PISCATAWAY, NJ - There are 28 new cases in Piscataway according to Middlesex County health officials on Sunday, bringing the total to 497 residents who have tested positive in Piscataway. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.
According to covid19.nj.gov, there are now 8,017 positive cases in Middlesex County and 329 deaths.
Statewide, there are 85,301 positive cases, an increase of 3,881 overnight. The death toll is now at 4,202, an increase of 132 overnight, according to the State Department of Health.
85,387 negative test results have been reported across the Garden State.
The increasing count is expected as the total number of positive cases throughout the state has increased, said health officials.
