PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County health officials reported Wednesday that there are 50 new cases, bringing the total to 195 of Piscataway residents who have tested positive for COVID-19.  No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

In Middlesex County, there are a total of 4,156, and 139 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

Statewide, there are a total of 47,437 cases, an increase of 3,021 overnight, with the statewide death toll now at 1,504, an increase of 272 overnight, according to the state Department of Health.

Statewide, there are a total of 52,979 negative test results reported by the state-run and private laboratories, according to the NJDOH.

The increasing cases are expected as the total number of positive cases throughout the State has increased. Please continue practicing social distancing and limit gathering in our effort to flatten the curve.
