PISCATAWAY, NJ — The number of COVID-19 cases in Piscataway increased by 16 overnight, bringing the total to 630 reported Middlesex County health officials on Saturday. The reported death toll remains at 14 for the township.

There are now 10,075 positive cases in Middlesex County and 431 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

Statewide, there are 105,523 cases, an increase of 3,327 overnight, with the death toll now at 5,863, an increase of 246 overnight, according to the New Jersey State Department of Health.

108,163 negative test results have been reported across the Garden State. 

The increasing count is expected as the total number of positive cases throughout the state has increased, said health officials.

Health officials urge residents to continue practicing social distancing and limit gatherings in the effort to flatten the curve.
