PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County health officials reported 18 new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 538 residents who have tested positive in the township. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

There are 8,767 cases with 360 deaths in Middlesex County according to the official New Jersey COVID-19 website, covid19.nj.gov.

There are currently 92,387 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with the death toll now at 4,753 in the state.

During his daily briefing on Tuesday, Gov. Murphy said that the average for hospitalizations from the COVID-19 virus continues to trend downward.
