PISCATAWAY, NJ — Middlesex County health officials reported 6 new positive COVID-19 cases over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 858 residents who have tested positive in Piscataway. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

The reported death toll remains at 34 for the township.

According to covid19.nj.gov, there are 309 new cases with 27 new deaths reported on Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 171,182 positive cases and 13,121 deaths.

There are now 16,764 positive cases in Middlesex County and 1,118 confirmed deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

Middlesex County’s Department of Public Safety & Health and Office of Health Services offer drive-through and walk-up COVID-19 testing sites for Middlesex County residents. 

All COVID-19 testing performed at the sites are free for county residents, but require an appointment. Testing days and locations vary on a weekly basis. For more information click here.
