PISCATAWAY, NJ – Since the Piscataway Senior Center remains closed to the public due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, staff members recently released a video to show the township's senior residents some of the services that are still available to them.
In the video they remind seniors that reservations can be made for transportation needs such as trips to medical appointments or to the grocery store. Or they can make arrangements for the Meals on Wheels program to come to them.
According to their website, the Piscataway Senior Center is a “Community Focal Point where adults 60-years-old and over can come together for services and activities that reflect their experience, enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their participation in the center and the community.”
For more information or to make a reservation, call the Senior Center at (732) 562-1133. Staff members are available Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
