PISCATAWAY, NJ - Meet Diesel, Piscataway’s TAPinto Pet of the Week!
His owner, Virginia Bernstein tells us about him.
This handsome man is named Diesel. His favorite thing in life is his red ball. He loves to go for rides in mommy's truck and is definitely a "road dog". He's the love of our lives and he's trained to be a support/guard dog for us and keeps me company while I work from home.
While he was at his favorite groomer, he actually prevented a robbery when he surprised two would be thieves with his 500 pounds of pit bull bark. He's part German Sheppard, Part American Bull Dog, Part Wolf and Part Staffordshire Terrier. Like most Terriers, he's extremely smart and can be very stubborn when he wants to be.
He's amazing company while I work from home. My husband, Daniel and I try every day to be the kind of people our dog loves us for. He won't live as long as he deserves to, that's for sure. He's our everything.
We live in NorCal but are Piscataway raised, with family still in both the New Market and Washington Ave section. Hubs and I actually met at Quibbletown in the 80s. We still read the newspaper from home to keep up with what's going on. Glad to be able to.
