BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway woman died Tuesday after she was struck by her own vehicle after parking on a downhill grade in the parking lot of 9E Easy Street, according to a release from Bridgewater Township Police.

According to the release, police were sent to the parking lot at about 10:16 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a pedestrian involved motor vehicle crash with injuries.

When they arrived, the release said, police found that Kathleen McAdams, 75, of Piscataway, had been struck by her vehicle, a 1998 Ford Explorer. She was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, where she died from her injuries.

The crash is being investigated by the Bridgewater Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
