PISCATAWAY, NJ – Members of the North Stelton Volunteer Fire Company were on hand to greet members of the community at their annual open house Friday evening.

Various types of fire and rescue apparatus were displayed, as squad members gave tours and answered questions about the importance of fire safety and prevention, and how the department responds to emergencies.

As the sun went down, parents and children were invited to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to view the movie, the Secret Life of Pets on the department’s main lawn where an outdoor projector was set up. Volunteers from Piscataway's Abundant Life Worship Center served snacks including popcorn and pretzels during the movie night.
