WEST WINDSOR, NJ — A 24-year-old Piscataway man was killed after being struck by two cars on Route 1 in West Windsor late Monday night, closing the northbound lanes for three hours.

West Windsor Police reported that the man, whose identity was not released was in the left lane along Route 1 North near the Meadow Road overpass at about 11:00 p.m. when he was first struck by a 2005 Nissan Murano, sending him into the center lane.

He was then struck by a 2018 Honda Accord which was traveling in the center lane, said police adding that the pedestrian was dressed in dark clothes.

Police said the man died from his injuries at the scene.

Neither driver was injured, however, the Nissan sustained significant damage from the impact while the Honda had minor damage, said police.
