Children attending with their parents are able to participate in a separate program known as the Indian Cultural and Values for kids tailored to the youth. During this program, children have the opportunity to learn yoga at a slower pace than the adult classes and learn about the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
“The purpose and the goal of our organization and institution is to spread the ‘Krishna Consciousness’ in the youth of the city and state and to create a way for the upcoming generation to make their lives better in terms of their thinking in a positive way and to create a way in which the youth can keep in touch with their culture which is something we teach them about here through scriptures and the Bhagavad Gita.” Stated Sarvalakshana Das, a monk at the Radha Gopinath Mandir who participates in organizing this program every Sunday.
