South Plainfield Field Hockey: Tigers Nip Piscataway 2-1 in Home Opener

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – South Plainfield’s Lynda Farinella and Quinn Milane each scored a goal and Tatianna Sutor turned away seven of eight shots on goal to lead South Plainfield to a 2-1 win over Piscataway. Piscataway’s lone goal was scored by Amanda Lopez.

“The girls played a great opening game” said South Plainfield Head Coach Melissa Zurawiecki. “We’ve been talking about playing a full 60 minutes of strong consistent Tiger Hockey, and I think we did that really well today.”

South Plainfield next plays home this Saturday versus East Brunswick.
