MORRISTOWN, NJ - On Saturday November 25, five Morristown churches reported property damaged during the overnight hours. According to authorities, the Church of God in Christ for All Saints, Bethel A.M.E. Church, Calvary Baptist Church, Union Baptist Church and Morristown Church of Christ all reported the damage as acts of vandalism.
The churches had broken stained glass windows and broken/damaged exterior signs, according to police.
The incidents are being treated as a possible bias crime. The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Bias Crimes Unit at 973-285-6200.
