PLAINFIELD, NJ – The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit and the Plainfield Police Division are seeking help in locating a missing 76-year-old woman, Mildred Buggs, who was last seen on Monday, August 17, in the area of downtown Newark.  Buggs suffers from a mental disability and is considered to be “at risk”.

Buggs is described as a black female with brown eyes and  grey hair, standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. Buggs is possibly wearing a lavender jacket, a tiger print shirt, a black skirt and is possibly trying to get to 311 Treemont Avenue in East Orange, NJ.

Buggs was initially reported missing from her home in Plainfield, on Wednesday, August 5, at around 11 p.m.
