HELP ASSOCIATED HUMANE SOCIETIES CLEAR THE SHELTERS
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19TH NOON TO 5 PM
The Associated Humane Societies shelters in Newark and Tinton Falls along with nearly 700 animal shelters across the country, NBC New York and Telemundo 47 plan to Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Adoption fees will be waived that day for approved adopters with a $50 donation for dogs and $25 for cats to cover spay/neuter costs and vaccinations.
The goal is to help every adoptable animal find their forever home and make room to help other homeless animals. Over 6,000 animals were adopted in 2016 across the country.
Join us Saturday, August 19th from noon to 5 pm at the Newark Shelter at 124 Evergreen Avenue right off of Frelinghuysen Avenue or the Tinton Falls shelter at 2960 Shafto Road between Asbury Avenue and Rt. 33. Visit www.ahscares.org for directions.
