PLAINFIELD, NJ - A community candlelight vigil will be held at Plainfield's City Hall Plaza on Monday evening to stand in solidarity with the victims of the violence that took place in Charlottesville, VA.

Mayor Adrian O. Mapp, along with city and community leaders will be in attendance, and Rev. Hodari Hamilton, the Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, will be the keynote speaker.  Pastor Hamilton had been the Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charlottesville prior to moving to New Jersey.

Rev. Ann Marie Alderman of First Unitarian Society of Plainfield, Pastor Antione Hart of Freedom Ministries, and Rev. Dámaris E. Ortega UCC Congregational will also speak, and Councilman-Elder Barry Goode will deliver the invocation.

Parking is available behind City Hall.
