NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - A Monroe dentist was arrested today on charges of improper sexual contact with three of his female employees at his office, including one worker who was 17 when the incidents began, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey said in a statement today.
Dr. Richard Goldberg, 47, of the Morganville section of Marlboro Township, Monmouth County, was charged with three counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact and a single count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Carey said in a joint statement with Monroe police Chief Michael Lloyd.
They said Monroe police Detective Brian Dziomba and Detective Mark Morris of the prosecutor's office filed the charges based on evidence they uncovered during an investigation of Goldberg.
Authorities said the investigators determined that from July 2016 through August 2018, Goldberg on multiple occasions improperly touched the three employee, including the girl. All of the contact occurred during normal working hours at his office on Spotswood Englishtown Road.
Police are continuing to investigation the case and ask that anybody with information call call Detective Dziomba (732) 721-0222 ext. 147, or Detective Morris at (732) 745-4194.
Goldberg is scheduled for his initial court appearance in New Brunswick Superior Court on Sept. 13, 2018.
