PLAINFIELD, NJ - Lamour Harvey, a single father and active Plainfield community member, will be gifted with a fully prepared Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday.

Lamour suffers from a rare disease in his legs that prohibits him to do the things he once loved, mentoring young men in his community and coaching football. The disability has affected him so much that he is unable to work or stand for long periods. His son, Semaj Harvey, 15, is his greatest support and helps out with everything.

This Thanksgiving, to take the financial burden off of this family, Great Joy Counseling & Consulting Services, in conjunction with NJDC Cares, Inc. and Alanna’s Pantry, will provide the Harveys and families alike in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with fully prepared meals for the holiday.
