PLAINFIELD, NJ - Celebrate Ecuador's Independence Day Friday evening on the plaza in front of Plainfield's City Hall.
August 10, 1830 marks the country's Independence Day, and highlights the cultural diversity of the Ecuadorian people. It is also known as El Primer Grito de Independence.
The Plainfield festivities on Aug. 10, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., will include a flag-raising ceremony, music, dancing, and more. There will be something for everyone.
City Hall is located at 515 Watchung Avenue.
