CHERRY HILL, NJ - The Editor-in-Chief of The East Brunswick Sentinel, The North Brunswick Sentinel, and The Cranbury Press has been charged with possession of child pornography following a legal search of his home yesterday.
Timothy Ronaldson, 35, of Cherry Hill, has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan.
Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant yesterday April 17, 2018, for his residence on Massachusetts Avenue in Cherry Hill. An onsite preview of digital media devices found in the home resulted in Ronaldson's being charged, says a press release from the Camden County prosecutor's Office..
Detectives located numerous digital devices which were seized from the home and sent to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic lab to be analyzed.
Ronaldson, the Editor-In-Chief for Newspaper Media Group LLC, was arrested at his residence without incident, processed by the Cherry Hill Police Department, and later released. According to their website, Newspaper Media Group serves 1.5 million households each week through their owned or managed community newspapers and distribution services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and surrounding areas.
Members of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office, and the Cherry Hill Police Department assisted the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives on this case, says the press release.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
