PLAINFIELD, NJ - A day off from school means a day of fun playing golf with the First Tee of Plainfield.
This one day golf camp on Monday, Feb. 20th is for children ages 7-16. Golf activities will take place from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and all campers will receive lunch and a snack. The camp costs $99, and you can register online here.
Monday's forecast is calling for warm weather, so the day's golf lessons will be split between the east coast sports-plex, and on-course play at the West 9 in the afternoon.
Spring and Summer Camp registrations are also open. The Spring Break Camp will run April 10th-14th, and Summer sessions consist of weekly golf camps starting the week of June 26th and run through the week of August 28th.
The First Tee program at Plainfield Country Club is under the leadership of Bill Castner, the West Nine Head Golf Professional, and a Master Golf Professional who won the Junior Golf Leadership award from the NJPGA for four straight years. He has been a finalist for the Junior Golf award the past three years. He is also TPI certified in Junior Golf.
