PLAINFIELD, NJ — Plainfield's City Council members unanimously voted at the Dec. 9 meeting in favor of a resolution that allows for free metered parking in the Central Business District during business hours of the 2019 holiday period.  It is the eighteenth consecutive year for this action.

The area includes the Plainfield Business District bordered by Madison Ave. to Roosevelt Ave., and from the municipal border (The Green Brook), to East/West 7th St.  It includes lots One, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten.

Free parking is available from Monday, Dec. 16 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
