GREEN BROOK, NJ - Arthur Lewis Park will open to the public on Friday, July 10. Park hours will be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and at this time the playgrounds, fitness court, basketball court, beach volleyball court, handball court and pavilion will be open. The splash pad opening is forthcoming. There are two different playground areas, a large one for older kids (5-12+) and a smaller one for younger children.
“While this opening is not happening exactly what was envisioned due to the pandemic, the Township is excited to share this beautiful facility with the community,” they said. “Please be aware that staff will be sanitizing high-touch points several times per day, but park use is at the users risk. If you and your family are coming to the park for some fun, please come prepared (hand wipes, sanitizing gel...etc). The restrooms will be open. Also, if you plan to come, please maintain the 6 foot social distance and wearing masks is encouraged.”
The park is located at the site of the former swim club at 49-59 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ 08812.
