The designer’s included: Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Vera Bradley with values of up to $450.00. The event also had a basket raffle with 10 baskets and a 50/50.
Many attendees brought in trays of food, snacks and desserts to enhance their night of fun and chance. “We are pleased with the results of the event,” said Melissa Katsingris, co-chair of the event. “Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and loved the bags we had to offer.” Cindy Trunell, co-chair of the event stated, “running a successful event like this requires a group effort.” Parent volunteers were available all night offering assistance to the attendees. “Our volunteers were amazing and did a great job making sure everyone had a good time,” added Trunell.
“It was a fun night that was well run by a group of volunteers who have already shown what they can do with their annual Tricky Tray,” said Linda Dashuta, a former resident of South Plainfield who came back to town for the event. “Fun was had by all,” said Dashuta.
Marybeth Parache served as the “caller” for the evening with the help of Katsingris. “Marybeth did a fantastic job,” said Katsingris and Trunell.
