WESTFIELD, NJ -- The 2015-16 season was a record-setting one for Holy Trinity basketball. Over 180 students from kindergarten through 8th grade participated in clinics and team play throughout the season. The teams from 3rd through 8th grade played in Union County CYO leagues, as well as the Suburban Catholic League.

Highlights of the season included the 5th/6th grade girls team capturing the Greg Frost Tournament championship title as well as tying for the regular season championship in the Suburban Catholic League. The 5th grade boys team also had a great season by capturing the CYO regular season and tournament as well as the Clark Winter Basketball Tournament.

On Friday, April 8th, Holy Trinity School celebrates all students who have played this basketball season.

"It is an annual tradition at Holy Trinity to conclude the basketball season with "Night at the Hoops."  It is a fun night for the basketball community at Holy Trinity to get together and celebrate the season," said David Cushing, Holy Trinity School Athletic Director.  The evening includes each team from kindergarten through eighth grade playing short scrimmages followed by ice cream and pizza.
