PLAINFIELD, NJ - A forum for undocumented students will take place at Plainfield High School.

This free conference will bring together advocates from the Child Advocacy Clinic and the Immigrant Rights Clinic at Rutgers Law School, and Maria del Cid, a community representative who established the Del Cid Dreamer Scholarship.

Topics of discussion will include:

Sign Up for E-News

  • Changes in the law for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, and other programs
  • Immigration benefits for which a student or his/her family members might qualify
  • Ways to protect oneself if stopped by immigration or law enforcement
  • Free legal screenings will be offered at the conclusion of the presentation

This presentation will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 9:00 am in the library on the second floor.  Plainfield High School is located at 950 Park Avenue.
