BRIDGEWATER, NJ - An arrest was made in connection with the burglaries of six unlocked vehicles on Shasta Drive, 6th Avenue and North Bridge Street Oct. 6, according to Bridgewater Township Police.

According to police, an individual was arrested for the burglaries Oct. 10 and most of the proceeds were returned to the victims. The name of the defendant has not been released.

According to the initial report, items taken from the vehicles include currency, prescription medication, electronics, sunglasses and various personal effects.

Police made arrests for theft and disorderly conduct during the middle of October.

  • Camilo Pombo, 68, of Lebanon, was arrested Oct. 12 for theft of merchandise, valued at about $300, while at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Pombo was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for theft and released pending a court appearance.
  • Steven Burruecos-Eliosa, 18, of Plainfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Finderne Avenue Oct. 15. He was processed, served with a complaint summons for improper behavior and released pending a court appearance.
  • Jared Gesicki, 20, of Pennsylvania, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Route 28 at about 12:20 p.m. Oct. 5. He was issued a summons for careless driving too. Gesicki was processed and released pending a court appearance.
