SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- In honor of what would have been her granddaughter Summer's third birthday, Jo-Ann Crifasi will host a lemonade stand to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research on Sunday, August 20, after the 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. masses at St. Bart's in Scotch Plains.

"Summer had so many friends and supporters from all over the country. So many of you have been so generous financially, but now you can be even more involved," Crifasi wrote on her Alex's Lemonade Stand fundraising page. "This August, you can show your support by hosting your own lemonade stand in Summer's honor. Who doesn't want a cold glass of lemonade in the heat of August?"
