PLAINFIELD, NJ - LiVay Sweet Shop learned that the most requested item at homeless shelters is a pair of socks.  That's why the business is holding a "Warm Feet Sock Drive" this month to benefit the soup kitchen at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield.

New adult socks are currently being collected through Sunday, Jan. 15th, with two drop off locations accepting donations:

  • LiVay Sweet Shop Plainfield at 1048 Watchung Ave - 908-755-1313
  • LiVay Sweet Shop Watchung at 1590 Rt. 22 East - 908-322-CAKE (2253)

Anyone who stops in at either location on Saturday, Jan. 14th or Sunday, Jan 15th to make a donation will receive a specially made free sock cookie.
