Residents who may still have questions about their newly acquired healthcare plan will have an opportunity to learn more about these plans thanks to workshops being provided by The Orange’s ACA Navigator Project (OACANP), in conjunction with the Plainfield Public Library.
OACANP has served local communities in New Jersey since the start of the Healthcare Marketplace in 2013, offering free assistance with healthcare enrollment for hundreds of New Jersey residents. Beginning March 14, 2016, OACANP will be holding Coverage to Care Workshops at the main branch of the Plainfield Public Library. The workshops will run every second and fourth Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. through May 23, 2016.
“These workshops are a great opportunity for those who are new to insurance or new to the Marketplace to find out more about what is included in their plans,” said Mark Cafiero, OACANP’s Outreach Coordinator. “We’ve found that many of those who have enrolled aren’t aware of the numerous free screenings and tests that are offered in each plan.”
Utilizing these free measures can save enrollees/residents hundreds of dollars over the course of the year and lower the risk of more serious health concerns down the line.
The workshops will be held at 800 Park Ave., Planfield, New Jersey. For more information, you can visit www.oacanp.com or call the OACANP office at (973) 500-6031.
