NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 21-year-old man from Piscataway killed himself this weekend by leaping from a downtown New Brunswick building, according to police.
The man, who police have not identified, jumped from the top floor of the Morris Street Parking Deck, police said. That’s attached to Rutgers University’s Rockoff Hall and between Morris and New streets, with frontage on the busy destination George Street.
City police were called to the scene at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, March 25.
They performed a preliminary investigation that suggests the “suicidal victim” died as a result of impact, police said.
At this time, police said they don’t have any evidence to “suggest foul play was a contributing factor with this incident.”
