PLAINFIELD, NJ - Unofficial results are in for Plainfield's primary election.  In the race for mayor, incumbent Mayor Adrian O. Mapp is the projected winner. 

The race had four candidates vying for the position:  Mapp, Rev. Tracey Brown, Bridget Rivers and Dr. Henrilynn Ibezim.

The Council-at-Large position for the 2nd & 3rd Wards projected winner is Joylette Mills-Ransome, with 1,735 votes  to Cox at 562 and Blanco at 332.

In the 4th Ward City Council race, Steve Hockaday is the projected winner, with 296. Opponents Briggs at 283 votes and Simmons with 87.
