NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - A special Good Friday service will be held at the Church of the Holy Cross in North Plainfield from Noon until 3pm on Good Friday (April 3rd). It will include the Stations of the Cross and a discussion of the last words of Christ. The service will be held both indoors and outdoors and will involve the parishes of the Church of the Holy Cross, Grace Church in Plainfield, and St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Plainfield. The church is at the corner of Mercer and Washington Avenues in North Plainfield. All are welcome!

New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy signed Executive Order No.1 on Monday ordering the flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of New Jersey to be flown at half-staff to recognize and mourn the passing of the victims in Parkland, Florida.
The order is for all state offices, agencies and instrumentalities including schools for February 20.
