This spring, Maggie was diagnosed with liver disease.

“On Tuesday June 12th we got word that they had found a match for Maggie,” the update reads. “On Wed June 13th at 3 a.m. Maggie had a successful liver transplant. A flawless surgery. Thanks to Dr. Emond and Dr. Cutler and the rest of the world class team for saving our heart and soul. Folks its true Miracles do happen. The feeling of having my wife/mother of our 2 amazing kids back and on the road to recovery is beyond words. Cannot begin to tell you how thankful we are to all of you that have helped out and continue too. Maggie is now out of RICU and on a liver transplantation floor. She’s up eating and walking around and taking all the steps to an amazing recovery. We still have a long road ahead but we have taking a tremendous step forward. Again we are so thankfull to all of you. Much Love, Shawn, Maggie, Will and Ella.”
