Piscataway Cultural Arts Commission’s 2018 Summer Concert in the Park Series begins July 5th

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Area residents are invited to come out and bring those lawn chairs to the township's 2018 summer Concert in the Park series which begins on Thursday, July 5th. 

The Concert in the Park series will be held Thursday nights, July 5th – August 30th at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, September 9th at 3 p.m. at the Columbus Park extension gazebo located at the intersection of Lakeview Avenue, New Market Road, and Williams Street.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Piscataway Senior Center, 700 Buena Vista Drive directly behind Kennedy Library.  Call the weather hot line for updates: (732) 562-2389

July 5th – Jim Barone

An Elvis Presley tribute artist, Jim Barone brings Elvis’ voice and music back to life.  Don’t miss this rocking performance if you are an Elvis fan.

July 12th – David Cedeno

Bring your dancing shoes for a fun night of Salsa.

July 19th – The Guthrie Brothers

The Guthries are taking us on a journey to Scarborough Fair with the music of Simon & Garfunkel so come on along!

July 26th – Hunter Hayes

Hunter will serenade you with his smooth mix of R&B & pop tunes we all love.

August 2nd – Verdict

Verdict turns up the heat for a night of music with a Caribbean flavor.

August 9th – Michael Patrick’s Ring of Fire

A rocking tribute to Johnny Cash with a sprinkling of other country greats.

August 16th – Desire Sings

Desire is back to take us on a trip down memory lane with oldies from the 50s and 60s.

August 23rd – Human Wheels

Come rock with us to the music of John Mellencamp brought to us courtesy of our friends at BC-Tire and Hankook Tires!

August 30th – The Dimensions with Valarie Adams

Motown, R&B, classic rock, dance tunes and sing along tunes.  Valarie Adams and her band will have you on your feet for a not to be forgotten summer night party.

September 9th – Soul Groove

Mixes it up with the very best of pop, dance, R&B and soul hits of the past four decades.
