PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Plainfield Public Library has released its calendar of children's events for the month of November.

Kids Vote is a mock election in which children can cast their vote from Tuesday, November 1st until Tuesday, November 8th, Election Day.

The National Novel Scavenger Hunt will run from Monday, November 14th through Wednesday, November 23rd.  Kids will complete a scavenger hunt of children's authors, and receive a prize.

In anticipation of the December 16th release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", the library will be screening "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 10th.

The next day, catch "Zootopia", with a rookie bunny cop and a con artist teaming up to uncover a conspiracy.  The film will be shown at 2:00 PM.

Storytime with Plainfield City Councilman Barry Goode will take place on Saturday, November 12th at 12:00 PM.  A second Storytime session with Ms. Rosa Nicks will be on Monday, November 21st at 6:30 PM.

Join library friends for a Thanksgiving Day Craft on November 16th at 3:30 PM.  Children will make holiday-themed crafts.

Get ready for a Star Wars event with members of the 501st Northeast Legion at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 19th.  Take part in raffles, trivia and games, meet some special characters! 

The Plainfield Public Library is located at 800 Park Avenue.  The Children's Library is open Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Friday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
