PLAINFIELD, NJ - Who doesn't love Girl Scout cookies? Well, here's your chance to scoop up a couple of boxes from the Girl Scouts Heart of NJ Troop 40263, who will be in and around Plainfield this weekend and next.
On Saturday, April 1st, the girls will be outside of Burger King, at South Avenue and Leland Avenue, starting at 10:00 am. And on Sunday, April 2nd, they will be selling cookies outside of Walmart at Watchung Square Mall from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Then, on Saturday, April 8th, the troop will be on the front lawn of the duCret School of Art, located at 1030 Central Avenue in Plainfield, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. If it rains, the Girl Scouts will be in the school’s auditorium. Patrons are asked to drive to the back of the school where there is plenty of parking and enter in the back auditorium entrance.
There’s more to the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program than just a great cookie! The skills and confidence girls build by participating in the cookie program is priceless. When a Girl Scout sells cookies, she is creating a plan, interacting with customers, and working as part of a team. She is building a lifetime of skills and confidence.
