PLAINFIELD, NJ - This Saturday is Eggzactly what you need when the Easter Bunny comes to Plainfield.

At 10:15 am on Saturday, join the hunt for Easter eggs near the Parkside Grove part of Cedar Brook Park.  Bring your own basket to collect eggs, and enjoy the petting zoo, games, and kite flying, too.  The first 200 children will receive free chocolate bunnies.

Then visit the Plainfield Public Library at 800 Park Avenue.  The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures, and children can hear stories, watch a movie and hunt for more eggs.  Here is the schedule:

Plainfield's Mental Health Stigma-Free Zone launch event at City Hall is a collaboration between the City of Plainfield and Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services that will take place on Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The designation as a Stigma-Free Zone creates an environment in which residents are free to seek mental illness treatment without the fear of being embarrassed or judged.

Special one-hour mental health first aid classes will be offered, at both 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  Reservations are required, and class size is limited.  READ MORE HERE.

Girl Scout Cookie Sale - If you missed them last week, Plainfield’s Girl Scouts Heart of NJ Troop 40263 will be at duCret School of Art selling cookies that are just so hard to resist.  (Shhh... adults, did you know you can pair your Girl Scout cookies with wine?)
