PLAINFIELD, NJ — Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp has called for a special meeting where formal action may be taken. The public can join the meeting via Zoom on Monday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m.

PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 2, SECTION 2:2-10(A) OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLAINFIELD, 1971, A SPECIAL MEETING IS HEREBY CALLED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PLAINFIELD AT 7:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2020 VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AND ACTING UPON THE FOLLOWING:

1. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE DIVISION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES BY DECEMBER 1, 2020, TO DECLARE ANTICIPATED REVENUE LOSSES DUE TO COVID-19 AS A “SPECIAL EMERGENCY.”

2. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINFIELD, IN THE COUNTY OF UNION, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A: 4-53(M) TO FUND AN ANTICIPATED DEFICIT IN OPERATIONS FOR THE 2020 FISCAL YEAR OF THE CITY DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTABLE TO COVID-19.
