PLAINFIELD, NJ – Plainfield Mayor Adrian O. Mapp  attended The Queen City Academy charter school's morning meeting on Tuesday to present a congratulatory proclamation to the winners of the MLK Essay Contest.

The contest participants were required to write an essay based upon the following question:

How can we as the QCACS community help create an environment of love, respect, and support for our fellow citizens here in Plainfield based on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s quote: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
