Tuesday’s BOE meeting began with a recognition ceremony for the districts 13 longest serving employees, representing a combined total of over 600 years of service. Following a dinner and entertainment provided by the PAAAS Jazz Project, the presentation of award began with a brief welcome and opening remarks. According to Board President, Richard Wyatt, despite all the changes in administrations and the student demographics, these employees have been a constant and have remained in the district for over three decades.  Interim Superintendent. Ronald Bolandi, introduced each honoree and presented the awards.

Wilma Brown was the longest serving employee with 51 years is currently a school counselor at Woodland School and will be retiring this year.  Other honorees included :
