PLAINFIELD, NJ - Plainfield Public Schools selected the design of fifth grade student, Jocelyn Pico, for the greeting card the district mailed out to the Plainfield Community this holiday season.  Ms. Pico’s design was reproduced, printed and mailed out to over 200 entities that support the students of the Plainfield Public School District.

Her principal, Ms. Lisa Armstead and her Art teacher, Ms. Irene Mitta, at Woodland Elementary School, were very supportive of Ms. Pico, assisting her with supplies and time to complete the project.

A committee selected Ms. Pico’s artwork from among approximately twenty entries submitted by students from Clinton Elementary School, Evergreen Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, Washington Community School and Union County Teams Charter School.
