CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ — Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council will be honoring six local citizens at the Plainfields Good Scout Awards Dinner, held on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at The Westwood in Garwood at 6:30 p.m. The honorees for the event are Linda Carter, Assemblywoman for Legislative District 22; Tristian M. Cox, Social Studies Teacher at Plainfield High School; Carl Foerster, Scoutmaster of Scouts BSA Troop 5 in Plainfield; Bernel Harrison, Police Officer at the Plainfield Police Department; Keiona Miller, Councilwoman in the Borough of North Plainfield; and Michael Townley, Secretary Treasurer of the Rotary Club of the Plainfields.

The Good Scout Awards Dinner recognizes outstanding citizens for their positive contributions and service to their community. The Boy Scouts of America are proud to be able to honor these integral leaders in the communities of Plainfield, North Plainfield, and South Plainfield. The Chairman and Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Robert K. Graham, Real Estate Broker and Entrepreneur. The Plainfields Good Scout Awards Dinner will raise funds to benefit Scouting in the Plainfields area and across the Patriots’ Path Council.

Plainfield, North Plainfield, and South Plainfield are located within the Raritan Valley and Watchung Mountain Scouting Districts, part of the Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America, which serves over 16,000 youth in over 400 scouting units throughout the communities of Morris, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Union Counties.
