On Tuesday May 15th at 12:30 p.m. on the steps of City Hall, Mayor Adrian O. Mapp, the City of Plainfield, the Board of Education, and LimeBike along with EZ Ride and Plainfield’s Dairy Queen will host a press conference to announce that the City of Plainfield was selected to host the 2018 New Jersey State Bicycle Championships. The press conference will also feature a special announcement about the championship competition as well as the City’s upcoming bike share initiative, which will be the first LimeBike program in the state. The LimeBike program is unique in that it does not use docking stations and operates at no cost to the city and its taxpayers.

This is the third year in a row that the City of Plainfield has been chosen to host of the New Jersey State Bicycle Championships, which is sponsored by Liberty Cycle. The championship competition will also include The Taste of Plainfield featuring over a dozen local restaurants and vendors and games and activities for children.
