This summer the Office of Continuing Education at Union County College is expanding its course offerings for youth ages 11-18.  New this year are partnerships with Encore Kids, Liberty Science Center, The Juggling Team, and the Union County Performing Arts Center who will team with us to offer Acting, Fashion Passion, Juggling Workshop, Music Production: Beats and Lyrics and Programming Microprocessors. Many classes are taught by NJ-certified teachers and local businesses that specialize in delivering high-quality youth programs.

Educational classes offered include Algebra Review, Better Thinker-Better Writer-Better Grades, Design Your Own Comic Book, Middle School Math Review, Science, Art, Nature and Communication, and The Writer Within: Creative Writing. The college is also partnering again with Black Rocket, Incrediflix and Super Science to offer classes such as Make Your First Video Game, Video Game Animation, Minecraft Animators, Minecraft Modders, Advanced Action Flix and Advanced Lego Flix, Battle-Bot-Build-a-Thon, Crazy Contraptions and Intro to VEX IQ Robotics. Most classes are available for students ages 11-13 and 14 and above.

Certified Pharmacy Technician, SAT Test Preparation and Teen Finance Workshops are offered for students ages 14+.  The cost of the courses vary, and all classes will be held at the College’s Cranford campus, located at 1033 Springfield Avenue.
