PLAINFIELD, NJ - UPDATE - This girl has been reunited with her owner!
On Wednesday, Feb. 17th, a gray female miniature poodle (possible mix?) was found at the 1000 block of Kenyon Avenue in Plainfield.
Plainfield Residents' Association for Animal Rescue, or PRAAR members note this very friendly little girl was found wandering at about 1:00 P.M., in good condition, with no collar, no tags, and no microchip. She appears to have been well taken care of by her owners. She is being fostered by the wonderful people who found her.
The Plainfield Police Department has been notified that she was found. PPD can be reached at 908-753-3131. If this little dog looks familiar, please call 973-868-5939. PRAAR notes that proof of ownership will be required to claim the dog.
PRAAR also reminds folks to license your pet with Plainfield Vital Statistics (908-753-3093), to always keep a collar and I.D. tags on your pet, and to have them microchipped in case the collar is lost. If you need assistance with the licensing procedure or information about low cost microchipping, contact PRAAR, and they will help walk you through the processes.
