PLAINFIELD, NJ - The fall expo event for entrepreneurs that was held at Plainfield's duCret School of Art on Thursday was a success, according to organizers, with over 150 people in attendance.
The event was created with two goals in mind - to connect businesses, and to educate the community on services and businesses in and near Plainfield.
Speakers were also on hand. According to Georgina Solis, "We took the opportunity to have some great speakers give out key steps and information on purchasing your first home."
Solis added, "We had many vendors who offered food samples, coffee, event planning, insurance, mortgage, commercial financing, and jewelry, to name a few."
Solis said there was some great feedback on the event, and they are excited to plan more.
