PLAINFIELD, NJ - The 1st Annual Restaurant Week in Plainfield continued on Thursday, with a special musical treat at Tradiciones de Mi Puebla, a Peruvian eatery in the downtown area. Banda Sensacional provided live music outside under perfect weather conditions, and TAPinto Plainfield stopped by to snap a few pictures.

Restaurant Week kicked off on Thursday, August 8, and is the first major event for the newly reorganized Plainfield Special Improvement District under new leadership. Diners will have the opportunity to visit the city's diverse eateries through Sunday.

According to SID Director Antoinette Brevard, “There is good cross-section of ethnically diverse foods, from Columbian, Peruvian, Ecuadorian, Dominican, Caribbean and Soul Food, including bakeries and smaller specialty eateries, all at different price points.”
