PLAINFIELD, NJ - For the past few years, there have been two opportunities to celebrate National Night Out in Plainfield, one at City Hall Plaza and the other, put on by Netherwood Heights Neighbors, at Leland Park near Cook School.
National Night Out is a national event that fosters relationships between neighbors and law enforcement to build safer communities. No matter where you were able to enjoy the night's festivities, residents were able to come together, meet their neighbors, and interact with officers and city officials.
Councilman-at-Large, First and Fourth Wards, Barry Goode was Master of Ceremonies at City Hall.
The downtown event also commemorated journalist and blogger Bernice Paglia, who was honored with a well-deserved Community Service Award.
