SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Marching Band hosted its 20th Annual Marching Band Festival on Saturday, Sept. 22. 

South Brunswick was the big winner of the evening and took home the mayors' trophy. Members of the Scotch Plains Fanwood marching band presented trophies to the winners in various categories.

The Festival included performances by marching bands from Bayonne High School, Cranford High School, Edison High School, Elizabeth High School, Jackson Memorial High, J.P. Stevens High School, Linden High School, Monsignor Farrell High School, North Warren Regional High School, Somerville High School, South Brunswick High School, Weehawken High School, Westfield High School, West Orange High School, and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

The 150 member SPFHS Marching Band performed its 2018 show, On Point, under the direction of Durand Thomas. and assistant directors John Gillick, Scott Burrows, and Chris DiCarlo.
